Quickstart Guide

Get started with MailerLogic in minutes. This guide walks you through sending your first email.

Prerequisites

  • Active MailerLogic account
  • Your API key (available in your customer dashboard)
  • A verified sending domain (or use the verification process below)

Step 1: Get Your API Key

Your API key is available in your customer dashboard. It will look like this:

ml_live_1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef

Keep this key secure! Never commit it to version control or share it publicly.

Step 2: Set Up Your Domain

Add your domain via the API:

curl -X POST https://api.mailerlogic.io/api/customer/domains \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"domain": "mail.yourdomain.com"}'

Get DNS records to add:

curl https://api.mailerlogic.io/api/customer/domains/{DOMAIN_ID}/dns \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

Add the returned DNS records to your DNS provider, then verify:

curl -X POST https://api.mailerlogic.io/api/customer/domains/{DOMAIN_ID}/verify \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
